Understandi ng the purpose of characters in the text

My Reflection
I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose. I used a venn diagram to compare Ivan and Stella in the story the one and only Ivan. This made me realise the differences between the charters but also what made them similar. my next step is to be able to use this information to make inferences about the purpose of the charctars.

Multiplication Arrays

My Reflection

I have been learning to solve multiplication problems busing arrays.  I found this easy because I knew how to do it.  My next step is to learn my times tables off by heart.

I found easy because  i just have to desribe her with adjectives .I used my 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character .My next  step is to add more interesting adjectives .

Adding Single Digit Numbers Using Part Whole Strategies

I have been learning to use strategies to solve addition problems.  I found this hard because it was hard to split the numbers.  My next step is to keep working on these strategies.
