Onomatopoeia

WALT identify and use onomatopoeia in our writing.

I found onomatopoeia easy because animal sounds are onomatopoeia. I want to work on  thinking of more sound words.

Retelling the Story

Inquiry hats

We made hats out of paper mache. We  were looking at how the paper began soft and flimsy  and   became  solid as we  added  layers.

Measuring Using Standard Units

I found measuring tricky because it was hard to put the blocks on the line straight. I want to work on even harder questions.

Summarising information

I am learning to summarise information in non-fiction text.

I found summarising information easy because it is easy to find the information. I need to work on adding more key ideas.

2D Shapes

I found 2D shapes easy because I spelt out the words. I want to work on 3D shapes because I want to learn more. I liked doing the numbers.

Bike

I can find the answers by looking and reading the book. I need to work on typing the answers.

Youthtown throwing

At  Youthtown we were learning how to aim when we throw. It was fun.

Counting On

I can count on from the biggest number. I am now working on counting back when I need to take away.

Autumn Leaves

I am learning to write a haiku poem. I am trying to use interesting words in my writing like smooth and scrunchy.

I am learning to identify the numbers that come before and after.

My number was 15. 14 comes before it and 16 comes after it.
